Their journey has been full of love, adventure, and unforgettable moments. They met in the summer 2021 at Elia Beach, Mykonos, Greece; at that moment, they did not notice each other that much, but something was about to change later that night when Telly invited Alfi to join the boys at the Jackie’O beach to party the night away… That night was long and they enjoyed a lot together, from that moment they did not separate from each other for the rest of the Holidays.

By the end of that vacation, Alfi had plans to stay traveling and spend another week in Athens, while Telly was going to go back to Malta making a connection at Athens’ airport. What a surprise it was to find out at check-in time at Mykonos’ airport that even having had separately booked their flight tickets from Mykonos to Athens their seats were right next to each other. They kept together until the very last minute.

Once they were apart, they had this feeling of “something is missing”, then they started the calls/video calls. As if they hadn’t had enough of them during the COVID-19 outbreak. Well, in a way it worked as a kind of preparation for them to stand the physical distance and the never-enough-for-lovers on-line connection. Two weeks was the time they were apart, until Telly’s birthday when they got together once again, and here they for the first approached this crazy idea of having a long-distance relationship, which they both even not being fond of, agreed on taking on board.

17 times Alfi flew to Malta, a period that put altogether added up 6 months. The carbon footprint of their relationship was far not the most environmentally friendly. Mother Nature must have been angry at them. But just to be happy that they finally got together as one when Alfi finally moved to Malta.

 

A journey full of bump roads, disagreements and not seeing eye to eye at times. But love put them together. Passion and the open communication they have had since they decided to open their hearts and trust each other. They say It’s a constant exercise they do to always relook at it all to reassure their love constantly and remember why they are together.
